Eliud kipchoge is regarded to many as the Greatest Marathoner who ever existed. Eliud Kipchoge holds the world record in the marathon distance of 26 miles of 42.190 kilometers which he broke in the Berlin Marathon on 25 September 2022 finishing in 2.01.09. Moreover, he is the only man in history to have ever run a marathon under 2 hours something he achieved in Valencia in 2019 when he finished in 1.59.40. He is also the double Olympic champion having won in 2016 and 2021. He has also won marathon titles in Chicago, Berlin, London and Tokyo marathon. Kipchoge has only lost one marathon since 2014.
Eliud kipchoge was born on 5 November in 1984 in Kapsisiywa in Nandi county. Kipchoge is often said to have been running for 3 kilometers to school everyday.
As a teenager, Eliud kipchoge won his first global title when he won the 2003 joniour cross country title, he then continued to win the 2003 World title over 5000 meters beating Hicham El guerouje and Kenenisa Bekele on a very close sprint finish. He then won a bronze in the 2004 olympics behing Kenenisa Bekele and Hicham Elguerouje. In 2005, he missed the gold medals in the world chamionship finishing in fourth. In 2006, he took a World indoor bronze in the 3000 meters race and proceeded the next year to take silver in the 5000 meters race in the world championships behind Bernard Langat. He in 2008 olympics then got a silver in the 5000 meters race. In 2009, he finished in 5 th place in the 5000 meters world championship race but in 2010 got a silver in the Commonwealth games. In 2011 , he again missed the medals in the world championships 5000 meters race finishing in 7 th place . In 2012, he missed out on a chance to represent Kenya in the 2012 olympics 10,000 race admitting that this was not his favorite distance. In 2012, he finished 6 th in the World half marathon championships and later switched to the Marathon where he has won two olympic titles and is the first and only man in history to run under 2 hours. Kipchoge also holds the world record for this distance.
Alyson felix is a retired American female athlete. she has won multiple world and Olympic titles over both the 400 meters, 200 meters and 4 by 400 meters.Allyson Felix was born on November 18, 1985 is Los angles in America. some sources claim that her brother was also a sprinter. Her athletics career first started when she was named national highschool athlete of the year in 2003. In 2003, Allyson Felix signed a contract with Addidas. Her first international medal came in the 2004 Olympics when she earned a silver medal in the 200 meters race at only 18 years.
Kenenisa Bekele is an Ethiopian athlete who is often regarded as one of the greatest long-distance athletes in history. Kenenisa is currently ranked as the second fastes man in history in the 5000 meters, 10,000 meters, and the marathon where he has run a marathon in 2.01.40 in berlin 2019. He has also run the 10,000 meter in 26.17.53 and the 5000 meters in 12.37.35. Moreover, he is also regarded to have won 4 consecutive world titles over 10,000 meters from 2003 to 2009, he has also won two Olympic titles over 10,000 meters in 2004 and 2008. he is also regarded as the most successful athlete in the world cross-country circuit winning 6 senior titles and 4 junior titles. Other than that, Bekele won a gold medal in the 5000 meters at the 2008 Olympics and another one in the 2009 world championships. He also won the world indoor title in 2006 over 3000 meters and won the African title over 5000 meters in 2006 and 2008.
Born December 27 1986 is a Jamaican sprinter who specializes in the 100 and 200 meters. She is often regarded by many as the 'pocket rocket' due to her fast start. She is the only woman in history to have won 5 world titles over the 100 meters where she won gold in 2009,2013,2015,2019 and 2022. She has also won gold in the Moscow world championships 200 meters. Furthermore, she won gold in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics over 100 meters, bronze in the 2016 Olympics, and silver in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics over 100 meters. In addition to that, she has also won 5 diamond Ligue trophies in 2012,2013,2015, and 2022. She is currently the second-fastest woman alive over 100 meters.

Born in kapsowar in Marakwet district in Kenya, Ezekiel Kemboi Cheboi. Kemboi began his winning streak in major athletics events winning gold in the 2001 African junior championships. He later in the next year got a silver in the 2002 common wealth games followed by a bronze in the same year in the African athletics championships.

Although Usain attended the 2004 olympics , he really never qualified into the finals. In 2005, Usain met his long time Coach Glen mills who intended to make him more professional and in 2007, Usain was able to grab his first major medal winning a silver medal in the 2007 World Championships in Osaka Japan....

Known for his 'mobot', Mo Farah is regarded to be one of the best Long distance athletes in history having won 4 olympic titles over both 5000 and 10,000 meters and 8 medals in the world championships 6 Gold medals and 2 silver medals).
Mo Farah's greatness came to be known when he won a silver medal in the 10,000 meters in the 2011 daegu world Championships and later in the same competition Gold in the 5000 meters ahead of Bernard Langat. In the 2012 London Olympics, Mo Farah upset a strong lineup of Ethiopians and Kenyans including the then 5000 and 10000 meters world record holder Kenenisa Bekele to win the 10,000 meters race. In the 5000 meters race later in the competition, Mohammed Farah is beat challanges like Bernard Langat and Dejen Gebremeskel to win the event making him the first British man in over 3 decades to hold both the 5000 and the 10,000 meters double.
